How will this charge with a Smart Alternator?

The BMPRO Power Station can be charged directly from your vehicle while driving. The solar input (cable provided) accepts charge from the alternator/starter battery using the same cable, supporting voltages between 12-32V. Smart Alternators output between 12.0-13.5V, which is sufficient to recharge the power station.

 

Will it charge while I’m using it?

Yes, the power station can charge and discharge simultaneously. For example, you can charge the unit using solar panels while charging your phone or other devices at the same time.

 

Will it charge while I’m driving?

Yes, the power station allows you to charge while on the move. Simply connect the power station to your vehicle’s starter battery using the solar input, and enjoy a fully charged unit when you arrive at your destination.

 

The USB and AC Power buttons are not working on my unit. What should I do?

If the USB or AC functionality isn’t working, try turning on the power button located between the AC and USB buttons. It should light up blue when powered, and the screen will display battery information.
